In designing your site, we will be using an open source package called Joomla!, which is a content management system (CMS).
Joomla! has a wide variety of plugins, components and modules to enhance the functionality of your website. And if there is not an existing one that fits your needs, we'll create one for you.
We've listed these components below.

A content management system is software that keeps track of & gives you access to every piece of content on your website. Much like your local public library keeps track of books and stores them. Content can be simple text, photo's, music, video's, documents, or just about anything you can think of. A major advantage of using a CMS is that it requires very little technical skill to manage. Extra Components

1. Advanced Slide and image component
   This component will allow a thumb nail to be viewed & a larger image with an option to have "sample" ghosted over it.
2. Custom site forms
   For sales, quote requests / donations or other customised client feedback via e-mail.
3. Auto image resizer
   Once an image has been uploaded this component will automatically resize your image optimised for site display. Download time of images is automatically be minimised.
   We highly recommend this plugin.
4. Cascading menu
   Giving the user 1 click access to virtually anywhere on your site.
5. Site user registration
   A basic client data-base by registration. This component enables users to register to your site, enabling you to build up a database of clients.
6. Newsletter Component
   For newsletters sent from your site - additional training included. Clients are able to subscribe with full 'opt-in' and 'opt-out' option sent with each mail as required by law.
   Note: Access IPD will not setup mailing lists without legal aquisition records.
7. Forum component
   Enabling people to interact with each other on the site. Sharing information etc.
8. Banner advertising
   This component enables you to sell  advertising on your site and newsletter.
9. Social Network advertising
   Enabling others to easily share your URL via Facebook, Twitter & +/-150 other social network sites.
10. Business contacts network
    Enabling listing of businesses or individuals, like a Yellow Pages.
11. Extended Social Network
    ("Site user registration" component (number 5 above) is mandatory for this to work)
    Allowing registered users to communicate with each other, upload images and/or see who else in the community is online.
12. Storefront
    Using VirtueMart for Joomla!, this component enables ordering & shipping, or can be used as a sophisticated online catalog.
13. Document upload & download (advanced)
    A categorised download component with front end administration.
14. Document upload & download (simple)
    Allowing users to download documents from article pages. This component is administrated from the front end of the website.
15. Website calendars
    Multiple or single calendars with varying degrees of complexity and functionality.
16. Events list
    A simplified events list by date, without an on-line calendar.
17. Random image display
    This componnt allows a display of any one of a random set of images.
18. Blog site
    Enble blogging for registered users.
19. Comments module
    ("Blog site" component (number 18 above) is mandatory for this to work)
    Allowing users to comment on blog posts.

    Rotating Newsbanner component built into the site header.

    View weekly, monthly, daily traffic stats, referral stats, top pages etc from your front end administration.

Training & 1 Month Maintenance hand over (not optional)
Once the site is complete there will be a process of training required in order for you to be able to upload content yourself. This process will also enable us to answer any questions you may have to get the site completely functional.

After the initial 1 month maintenance hand over period, you may still require support and would like to sign a maintenance contract with us.

With Joomla! it is simple enough to do as much of your own maintenance as you would like from wherever you are, OR we could do it for you.
